Honoring Daroneshia Duncan-Boyd

We are proud to honor Daroneshia Duncan-Boyd, the founder of the T.A.K.E Resource Center in Alabama, by establishing a fund in her name. Daroneshia has shown us at Advocates of the South Inc. that everyone deserves to eat well and be full, no matter who they are.

Our program fund, D.D.W.C - We Break Bread (Food Assistance Program), stands for "Daroneshia Duncan We Care." This fund will continue Daroneshia's legacy of compassion and support for the community, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
